How Feeding America Helps to End Domestic Hunger

A graduate of Harvard Business School, Keith Mirchandani has served as the CEO and principal of Tristar Products, Inc. Under Keith Mirchandani’s guidance, the company has established itself as an industry leader with over $1 billion in sales. In 2021, Tristar Products, Inc., donated 1.5 million meals to Feeding America as part of its social awareness campaign.

Founded in 1979 as Second Harvest, Feeding America is the largest domestic hunger charity in the United States. The organization operates over 200 domestic food banks, allowing it to serve approximately 6.6 billion meals per year. The charity also provides support to over 60,000 meal programs and food pantries.

Feeding America takes a four-pronged approach to its work. The organization works directly with manufacturers and distributors to rescue as much of the 108 billion pounds of food that goes to waste in America per year. It also ensures that the meals it provides have high nutritional value, focusing on fresh fruits, lean proteins, and whole grains. Feeding America also focuses on keeping the foods it offers safe, allowing the people it serves to feel confident in its services. All of these efforts serve the goal of increasing American food security so it can help break the poverty and hunger cycles that affect so many.

Tristar Products Partners with Feeding America

Based in Fairfield, New Jersey, Keith Mirchandani is the principal and CEO of Tristar Products, Inc., a global company. In May 2021, Keith Mirchandani and his firm partnered with Feeding America, the largest hunger-relief organization in America. This partnership represents the launch of Tristar Products’ social awareness campaign.
